Pakistan & Biotechnology Prime Minister Jamali, while presiding over PAEC's meeting in Islamabad has stressed the need to give due attention to agricultural research and bio-control of pests. PAEC is playing a vital role in many diverse areas including research in agricultural biotechnology. As a result of research focussed on producing higher yield crops, there has been an additional income of about Rs 6 billion to farmers.
