Pakistan Govt to allow BT cotton farming next year according to Shaukat
In an effort to grow genetically modified (GM) crops, Pakistan has carried out successful field tests of the Bt basmati rice. Apart from this, the country is also carrying out studies on mango and cotton. According to Mr. Shaukat Aziz the government will support farmers to grow GM crops and allow them to grow Bt cotton next year.
