Pakistan may harvest second highest cotton crop:

The cotton production during the next fiscal year
is expected to record a growth of as much as 10
percent to 13.44 million bales as compared to
12.32 million bales produced in the current year,
the country to harvest second largest crop, the
USDA said in a report.
Pakistan not lagging behind in biotechnology
Minister of state for information Tariq Azeem
said, despite being a developing country, Pakistan
is not lagging in the field biotechnology. Coordinated
efforts and strategies at the government level
have laid strong foundation for it.
